Self-sanitizing PPE

Existing PPE only act as a barrier between patient and others and is usually made from petroleum-based plastics which are neutral against pathogens. This increases the risk of pathogen transmission in hospitals and other places. Innonet presents self-sanitizing PPE in various products such as medical masks, face shields, gowns, etc. The encapsulated biopolymer when incorporated with plastic creates long-term and effective antimicrobial efficacy for a wide range of PPE easily and conveniently. In vitro tests of self-sanitizing PPE prove over 99% reduction in bacteria, funguses, and viruses in less than 24-hour contact time.
